Motherhood hasn’t slowed down R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles, whose fall season has been a blur of activity. Beyonce and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, parents of 10-month-old Blue Ivy, kicked off autumn by hosting an exclusive New York City fundraiser for President Barak Obama. The posh affair was held at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Manhattan on September 18, where Beyonce, dress in a gorgeous red cocktail dress, introduced the President while all of the ladies in the 100- member audience were busy thinking, “I want to buy Beyonce’s dress!” Since supporters paid $40,000 per plate to party with President Obama and the music megastars, we can assume that most of the ladies could afford to buy the chic dress that the Queen Bee wore so well that night.

While Jay-Z and Beyonce have been extremely outspoken about their political views relating to the November 6 presidential election, Beyonce took her support to an all-time naughty level. Although she dressed down in casual wear for a dinner out with her spouse, Bey was sure to show off her Obama earrings when leaving a NYC restaurant. Just days before the election, Beyonce posted a photo of herself on Twitter, showing off her new blonde bangs AND her absentee ballot from the state of Texas. This has fans worried that she have gotten herself in trouble by violating election laws. She didn’t, is the verdict so far. She also decided to join the social media Instagram, starting on Election Day, by uploading a picture of herself in a “Texans for Obama” shirt. Dressed-down in a casual wear style that only Beyonce can make look chic, she signed in under the user name “BaddieBey.”

Beyonce’s fans may not all agree with her political views, but her classy style of dress always has fans crying for more. (And often just plain crying because they, again, “want to buy Beyonce’s dress!)  Actually, the absentee ballot pic wasn’t the first time that fans saw Bey’s blonde bangs. She first showed off her new hairstyle when she and Jay-Z attended the Brooklyn Nets home opener at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on November 3. The chicly-dressed 31-year-old singer sat courtside with her husband, a part-owner of the Nets team, in a stylish ivory and burgundy pants ensemble from Tibi. She blinged the casual wear by adding Giuseppe Zanotti high heels, an Yves Saint Laurent ring, and Erika Pena hoop earrings.

In the meantime, as with most megastars, the rumor mills abound with gossip about the stylish Queen Bee. At the end of September, Beyonce’s fans and the media were all a-buzz with tales that Mrs. Jay-Z and her hubbie were expecting child #2. Not so, said Jay-Z, assuring the press that Beyonce is not sporting a new baby bump under her chic dress. In fact, Bey appears to be much too busy with upcoming projects to be thinking about another baby.  The singer has been tapped to star in a remake of Clint Eastwood’s “A Star Is Born,” although some reports say she has backed out of that deal. For certain, the fashion icon and her agents are trying to sell Hollywood studios on a nonfiction film about her life and career. Proposed as a feature documentary much like those done by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and company, Beyonce would both direct and star in the film.

One rumor that is not longer a rumor: Beyonce has been chosen to headline the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The fashionista confirmed the news on her website on October 17, when the musical superstar posted a photo of herself with “Feb. 3” and “2013” written in white on patches of eye black (the black stuff used by football players to cut down on sun glare). Although it doesn’t depict the singer at her stylishly-dressed best, the “Countdown to Touchdown!”-captioned image proves that when it comes to casual wear, Beyonce can make even eye black look good!
